Quick Answer
SP regens ~10/turn — Awaken → act → wait if needed → Awaken again. Put Awaken on highest reaction pilot (e.g. Newtype ~71).
Most SRPGs train you to hoard SP. Chaos Front regens roughly 10 SP per turn — Awaken is a rotation, not a once-per-boss panic button.

Awaken loop
- Awaken best unit turn one — reposition or delete a threat early.
- Spend the extra action immediately.
- Wait a turn if below Awaken cost — let regen tick.
- Re-Awaken mid-fight — two or three times per battle is normal.
Hoarding SP for a perfect moment = playing wrong game.
Reaction matters more than pool size
Extra actions that miss or eat counters are wasted. High reaction pilots (Newtype ~71 benchmark) — evasion and accuracy make Awaken turns count.

- Last enemy dies this turn anyway — spend SP on kill shot.
- Extra action leaves unit in guaranteed counter range — fix position first.
