Loadout check
Bring at least one poison and one freeze ability before the arena. Missing them? Check what you've purified: equipment purification.
Fight flow
- Open with poison — reapply when the icon fades. One stack is enough.
- Freeze when he winds a heavy swing or dash — 2–3 s window to heal or hit. Don't spam; save for scary chains.
- Flasks last — dodge and freeze first. Revives are for mistakes you couldn't avoid.
Cardinal Mathias has no poison resistance in my runs — DoT is primary damage while you survive.
Enrage (~30% HP)
Faster, same telegraphs. Keep poison up, freeze the biggest swing, don't panic-drink.
Under-leveled? A few bounty runs before retrying.
