Crimson Moon Guide
Nexus Gate Objectives
How nexus gates gate every combat zone in Crimson Moon — clear-all-enemies loop and sweep routing.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Quick Answer
Read gate prompt → kill every hostile in the zone → gate opens. No skipping. Sweep perimeter first; backtrack if a spawn was missed.
The loop
Every combat arena ends at a nexus gate. Prompt is almost always clear all enemies. Gate stays locked until the game registers zero hostiles — no kiting out, no sprinting past.

- Spot the gate glow (usually far end of arena).
- Read the objective text.
- Clear the zone.
- Loot side paths after the gate opens, before you commit to the next district.
If the gate won't open
- Perimeter sweep — spawns often at edges.
- Some enemies trigger on crossing a line or interacting with an object.
- Walk back toward entry; check corners.
Boss gates
- Demon Brute — survive / learn; mission ends win or lose.
- The Warden — real DPS check at Mission I end. warden guide
Bounties overlap well — gated arenas cluster the enemy types Gallant asks for.
