Trash Bags and Inventory Management
Buy bags from the tablet E-shop, equip slots, match bag types to garbage, and upgrade capacity.
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Quick Answer
Tablet E-shop → equip bags to slots before leaving garage → match bag type to zone garbage → upgrade inventory slots first.
Most players treat trash bags like something you grab when you remember. Wrong model. Bags are the throughput cap on the whole cleaning loop — wrong bag in a slot and you stop collecting whether you want to or not.
Hub context: garage through forest route.
Buy from the tablet E-shop
Open T → E-shop. Bags sit next to other cleaning gear — no separate vendor.

Buy before you leave the garage, not mid-route. Returning to shop mid-clean is dead time.
If you know the next zone, buy the bag type that matches that garbage. Buying blind means carrying a bag you cannot use.
Equip to inventory slots
Purchased bags do nothing until they occupy a slot. This is the step people skip, then wonder why collection stalls.
- Open inventory from tablet or in-game menu.
- Select the purchased bag.
- Assign to an open slot.
- Confirm it is active before exiting the garage.
Trash picker usually keeps its slot — bag count flexes around it.
Match bag types to garbage
Not every bag collects every pile. Treating them as interchangeable fills inventory with dead weight.
| Role | Handles | When I carry it |
|---|---|---|
| Standard bag | General roadside and garage trash | Default — always equipped |
| Type-specific bag | Garbage a standard bag will not pick up | Only when the route needs it |
| Spare bag | Backup when the active bag fills | Long routes with no shop |
Full bag is a hard stop. Active bag full, no spare — run is over no matter how much trash is left on the ground.
Upgrade inventory slots
Real gains live here. More slots → more bags → longer uninterrupted collection.
When I tested slot upgrades vs buying extra bags alone, the upgrade won every time. Bags without slots are inventory you cannot use.
Hub upgrade order: Phase III.
My garage loadout routine
Same sequence every departure — consistency beats improvisation.
- Check tablet shop for bag stock.
- Buy bag types the next zone needs.
- Equip to open slots.
- Confirm trash picker is still slotted.
- Leave only when no slot is wasted.
Empty slot on a long route is wasted capacity you already paid for.
Mistakes I see
- Buying bags but never equipping them.
- One bag type for every zone — type mismatch stalls mid-route.
- Ignoring slot upgrades — highest-value purchase in the bag economy.
- Leaving the garage with empty slots.
Bags are not a minor consumable. They are the ceiling on every run. Get the economy stable here, then pour upgrades into picker and vehicle on the hub route.
