Bones and Coins Guide

Currency and Material Management

Which coin tier to unlock when, and where I spend copper, silver, and gold first.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Quick Answer

Coin value before drop chance; buy Silver Coin Loot the moment it appears; bones and scrolls go to the Blacksmith; Expedition tops up whatever tier you're on.

When my runs stall, it's almost never damage — it's the wrong currency tier. Copper is tutorial money. Silver and gold need specific upgrades. I learned that the hard way.

Inventory and coin tiers in the shop

Main route: hub Phase I–II.

What I spend first

Copper: Münzwert (coin value), then Münzdrop (drop chance). Value multiplies what you already get — I tried drop-first once, felt slower.

Silver: does not appear until Silver Coin Loot is bought. I take it even if a weapon upgrade is staring at me.

Gold: Gold Coins upgrade in later dungeons. Never sell gold for copper — too rare.

Emerald / Ruby / Sapphire / Diamond — dungeon milestones. Order: all coin types.

Materials

  • Bones — skeletons, chests → Blacksmith
  • Scrolls — mages, rare chests → Warhammer / Scepter tier

I check Blacksmith after every new dungeon. Recipes move.

Selling junk

If I haven't touched an item in ~10 runs, it goes to the vendor. One sale often pays for the next node.

Don't sell bones or scrolls you need for the next craft on forge route.

Expedition

When I send them for
Early Copper
Mid Silver (after Silver Coin Loot)
Late Gold + expedition value upgrades

Start one before logoff. Swamp Crypt +100% expedition coin value is the big jump — hub Phase V.

Mistakes I made

  • Hoarding copper while silver was locked
  • Ignoring Expedition because the UI felt like homework
  • Selling craft mats I needed two runs later

Hub: full route.
