Crimson Moon Guide
Defeat Mahkteah, The Lord of Perdition
Mission IV: World Boss — Ancient Chamber. Boon pick, heavy telegraphs, co-op revives, red Abrais stone.

Quick Answer
Mission IV: Ancient Chamber after M I–III on second run. Grab boon (stamina/poison). Heal below 50%. Co-op: designate reviver. Red Abrais stone.
Second full run Mission IV world boss — Mahkteah, The Lord of Perdition. You've already taken E'Efrae on run one — this is the marathon, not a speedrun.

Before the fight
- Replay Missions I–III — stock heals and damage consumables. Clear nexus gates for extra loot.
- Grab the extra boon before Mission IV: World Boss — Ancient Chamber — non-negotiable in my route:
| Boon | When I pick it |
|---|---|
| Light attack supply poison | Steady DoT on big HP pool |
| Stamina recovery | Solo — more dodges |
| Poison bonus | Already on poison build |
Fight flow
- Few light attacks to read pattern, then back off.
- Dodge through telegraphed heavies — don't block everything. One heavy swing can take ~⅓ HP.
- Heal below 50% — don't wait for one-shot range.
- No long combos — counterattack stagger hurts.
Co-op
- One player draws aggro, one DPS.
- Teammate revive doesn't cost your heal charges — designate who revives.
- Solo = no safety net; near-perfect dodges or bust.
Reward
Red Abrais stone — essential for final run. Miss it and you redo the full second run.
